Once a Baker, Always a Baker
A look into our beginning
Growing up my sweet mother Corie was always cultivating love in our kitchen. Either crafting delicious dinners or decadent desserts, I fell in love with the art that she created with food. You could taste the love that she poured into her cooking, and that always filled my heart.
This love was passed down to me and in every moment of free time I found myself researching recipes, applying for jobs at local bakeries, or even spending my free time in the kitchen experimenting with ingredients.
It was in these little moments of watching my mom, playing around with ingredients, and baking the day away, my dream was born. One day I would have my own bakery.
Salt Sugar Flour is my love letter to those formative years. I imagine each order as a friend sharing those moments with me in the kitchen as fresh cookies come from the oven. It is magical, sweet and those memories create lifelong memories with those you love.
