Baking has always been a strong passion for Chelsea, Owner and Founder of Salt Sugar Flour. From family events to neighborhood treats and coworker appreciation, she found that her love of giving cookies to others became increasingly addicting.
When the Covid19 Pandemic hit, Chelsea started using cookies as her way to reach friends and family safely, leaving them on porches and in mailboxes to send love to those around her.
"There was so much uncertainty during multiple lockdowns and stay at home orders, but one thing remained the same through it all, cookies ALWAYS made things better."
It was during the second California Covid lockdown that Chelsea realized the love she felt for gifting cookies could be felt on a larger scale. She decided to open Salt Sugar Flour in November of 2020 with the hope that each cookie eaten spreads a little bit of love, even for a moment.
